Join the Eastland County Child Welfare Board on April 27th from 10am-2pm as we celebrate Keep Kids Safe "Blue Day" in honor of Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Month at Love Oak Pharmacy! Event will include hot dogs, a bounce house, balloons, and children 12 and under get a FREE frozen yogurt. There will also be a special appearance from the Eastland Fire Department.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month! This year we are celebrating the 35th Anniversary of our national awareness month as April was first designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month by President Ronald Reagan in 1983.
Over the years, April has been used to raise awareness of the problem of child abuse. These days, we use April to focus instead on how we can prevent child abuse and neglect.
