A World For Children contracts with and is licensed by the State of Texas to provide foster and foster-to-adopt services for abused and neglected children across the State. Our agency began in 1997 with a single office in Round Rock. Today, while our corporate office remains in Round Rock, A World For Children is now represented across the State, with 13 offices in the following locations: Amarillo, Brownsville, Brownwood, Corpus Christi, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, McAllen, Round Rock, San Antonio, Tyler, Victoria and Wichita Falls. Our extensive reach allows foster parents in all areas of the State to have an office close to their home to provide any support they may need.

We serve children rescued from abuse through foster care, by recruiting, training, licensing and supporting Ambassador Foster Families as they provide therapeutic services from a Christian worldview. The ultimate goal is to transition these children back into a healthy environment with their biological families. Or, if that is not possible, provide a safe, nurturing home from which they can launch into a successful adulthood.

The goal of Caring Hearts for Children is to become the child-placing agency of choice, and to prepare each child for success in their current environment as well as in their future lives as they work toward becoming productive adults.  Caring Hearts for Children recognizes the significant responsibility that they have in shaping the lives of those with whom they are entrusted.

Faith is the foundation of Christian Homes & Family Services, and it permeates every aspect of the ministry: our compassion for birth mothers; the integrity at the core of our relationship with prospective parents; whom we approve to provide foster care; how we manage the agency’s day-to-day operations; the stewardship of the ministry’s resources.

You can rely on the professionals at Christian Homes with great confidence. Four members of the Christian Homes social services team have worked together almost 30 years. Two members of the team have adopted children of their own, one is a foster parent and one is an adoptee. The expertise our tenured team has gained is unique among adoption agencies, and a difference you will appreciate.

We serve children and youth ages 0-17 that have been placed in the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). Typically, these are children who are experiencing a variety of social, emotional and behavioral difficulties because of abuse or neglect. They are children who need professional support and can benefit in a home outside their family.
